Disconnected

A single soul in a sea of souls.
Disconnected, lonely and frown.
The past in the shadows.
Closing an unhealable wound.

Connection is made and laughter prevailed;
yet laughter only in the sea of souls;
and when it came the soul was lost;
happiness actually belonged to no one.

Time to be disconnected.
What that counted no longer counts.
Lonely in the sea of souls.
But what follows belong to thy soul.

To choose an unrealistic happiness.
To convince thy soul to be happy.
Yet in happiness thyself was lost.
There is no true happiness in the sea of souls.
