Better and more accurate textbook grouping

Things used to be much simpler.

A textbook search would only give you 20-50 textbooks when we first started. Now we have an average of 100 to 200 textbooks per query. This gives us a problem: How are you going to scroll through the hundreds of lines of textbook listings on our site?

A few days ago, we introduced our new feature that groups your search result by textbook title. This allows you to easily view all the textbooks for sale with a particular title. However, because we try to keep our system has flexible as possible, we have no concept of what each textbook is. As a result, users can freely enter their own textbook titles. This resulted in lots of inconsistencies, and ultimately, lots of problems with our textbook grouping feature.

But I am now proud to announce that after spending 2 hours on tweaking and some applying some fuzzy logic, we have more or less gotten our textbook grouping to give you better and more accurate results!
