Are magic so interesting?

My career goal when I was young was to be a magician. I gave magic shows using my bed as a stage on multiple occasions when I was much younger to other kids around my age during events when there are many guests visiting my house, i.e. house warming, chinese new year, birthday parties etc.

My interest in magic was pretty much forgotten as the need for academic excellence weights me down and occupied the bulk of my mind.

Recently, me and Zombie went for a Magic show in which local self-proclaimed renowned magicians tried to perform 15 “Grand Illusions” in 5 minutes in an attempt to get into world record.

Although the tricks performed aren’t fantastic (was very obvious to me how more than half of them more performed), this kinda rekindled my interest in magic again.

I spent 3 days watching David Copperfield, Penn and Teller, and also “Magic’s Greatest Secret Revealed”.

I know I will never be a magician due to my lack of dexterity and impatience towards repetitive trainings, but I love magic as brain teasers trying to figure out how the tricks work.
